Which Credit Card is Best for You and When Do Rewards Cards Make Sense

What’s the best credit card to have in your wallet?

Which one makes the most sense for you?

Which card(s) will give you the biggest bang for your buck?

In order to answer these questions, you need to know the following:

  1. How credit cards work
  2. How and when they charge interest
  3. What your current needs are
  4. Which card(s) will help you improve your credit score
  5. Which card will serve you best

At this month’s Women’s Money Group meetup, we’ll dissect the whole topic of credit cards. We’ll look at which factors you should consider when selecting a card, or cards, for yourself.

Are rewards cards all they’re hyped up to be? Sometimes, but not always. There are some circumstances under which you should definitely ignore the enticements. For others, they make sense. We’ll discuss the when and the why for each scenario.

GOOD NEWS: By the end of the meeting, you’ll know which cards to keep, which to cancel and which to consider for the future.

On-Purpose Credit Cards

Wouldn’t it be empowering to know that the cards in your wallet are there by conscious choice, serving your needs? Because you’ve evaluated the salient factors and decided which make the most sense for you? That’s how you’ll feel by the end of the meeting on May 1st.

We want to ensure that your cards are doing their job. They need to be there on purpose.

If you’re concerned or embarrassed about the thought of having to disclose personal information, you can rest easy. This is a safe zone where you participate only if you choose to. If you’d prefer to sit quietly and absorb the discussions, that’s perfectly fine.
